I've never really written fanfics before, but I thought I'd try it. I've loved HTTYD for a while, and there is always room for more viking shenanigans in the Archipelago. Some fics here will be about Hiccstrid, and others will feature other characters like Traitor Johann, Heather and Dagur, and whoever else I feel like writing about.

*Undergoing Rewrite* *Not the cliche storyline* The threat of war looms over Hiccup's shoulders as he tries to keep the peace between the Dragon Hunters, Defenders of the Wing, and his former tribe, Berk. He left his home ten years ago to live in peace with his dragon, and since then has discovered a world full of magic. Across the archipelago, dragon attacks mercilessly pound the Berkians, destroying their soil and any chance for surviving the winter. With no other options, Stoick leads and expedition to find the legendary 'Dragon Master' in hopes he can help defeat their enemy. Arriving at the island however, they quickly learn that the survival of Berk barely crosses the peoples' minds as they continue to fight their own losing battle against an enemy that could destroy the entire realm. For the sake of their people, Hiccup crosses the barrier that separates the mortal and magical realm and is shocked to find the family secrets that had been frozen in time.

Y/n has always been Hiccup's best friend. She has also always calmed the dragons around her, yet no one knows why (yet). She is the "sister" of Astrid Hofferson, and she was found at a young age by Alin. However, when Hiccup shoots down a night fury finding another at its side a secret is revealed about y/n. This series covers the entirety of the first movie and introduces "Dragons Riders of Berk." I also decided to give Astrid's parents names, they are Ferguson (dad) and Alin (mom) her name is pronounced Ah-lyn. Anyway!
