Shiny lives with her parents and her elder brother - though he's mostly away at college and only comes home sometimes. She's never been alone in the house overnight. Until now. When her parents leave for her grandparents' 47th anniversary and her brother isn't home, Shiny finally gets what she wanted - a night to prove she isn't a child anymore. At first, it feels exciting. Midnight snacks. Netflix glowing in the dark. The quiet house finally belonging to her. But houses sound different when you're alone. The ticking clock grows louder. The air feels heavier. The silence stretches... and stretches... Then- A thud. Three slow knocks. Not at the front door. At her bedroom door. The power dies without warning. Her phone light flickers. And something stands at the end of the hallway. It wasn't there before. It doesn't move. It doesn't breathe. It just watches. And the worst part? The security cameras show nothing. Because some things don't appear on screens. They only appear when you're alone. When no one can hear you whisper- "Who's there?" One night. One empty house. One shadow that keeps getting closer. And by morning... Shiny might not be the only thing living inside that house anymore.

What I am about to tell you, I am telling you for a reason. That reason is to open your mind, and your heart. It is – in my opinion- the fastest way to end discrimination. There is still discrimination among us in todays society. We rarely see it on the news but it is there, sadly. It is still in our schools but in the form of bullying, it is still found at work hidden as “playful jokes”, and it is in our mind set where we can change that.

A strange school with strange rules

This is a book about my opinions - mainly on touchy subjects. If you get angry easily, I suggest you leave. The title itself is a trigger warning. There are rules, though. If I see: 1. Cussing people out 2. Bullying 3. Harassing 4. Spamming 5. Shade 6. Angry rants I will either block, report, or do both to you. I am welcoming your opinions on the subjects, but not hate.

Visions is a collection of short poems that come from experiences or daydreams that I have encountered throughout my life. They will take you through the ups and downs of your existence. They will steer you through real and fabricated worlds; they will tell you lies and truths. Please go into this with an open mind and think to yourself how each vision can apply to you. All I hope for you is that you see each vision from your own perspective, you feel something, and you learn from pondering over these words.
