It may have started as a misunderstanding. Watching carefully. Remembering small things. Adjusting words and timing so nothing feels out of place. At first, it is only a way to get through the day without mistakes to feel satisfied. To understand people is to hold something fragile. To be needed is warm. To be replaced is unthinkable. If everything works, nothing has to be questioned. If everyone smiles, no one has to ask why. And yet, something remains unresolved.
