Aurora is the famed princess from "Sleeping Beauty". Her beautiful raven locks and silvery eyes give her a certain charm that not a single soul can help but falling for; she has had every wish she's come up with granted by the Faeries that keep her safe in the woods from the witch that's cursed her--for she must fall asleep upon her 16th birthday, only to be awakened by her true love.

But, there is a catch: the Faeries cannot interfere with Fate, and she must face her trial alone come time for the witch to descend upon Aurora's humble cottage and bring with her the accursed spinning wheel. Aurora can't help but feel that she's been doomed to the most terrible fate of all--a life that cannot be lived save through the realm of dreams. She's never had a dream of her own, and she can't help but wonder if living a life doomed to fail was worth it at all.

Then comes the witch, at midnight on her birthday; inevitably, everything changes. Aurora begins to wonder: perhaps eternal sleep isn't so bad, after all...

Kilan is on the run. From men he knows all too well in a forest he does not know well enough. And running into that tree didn't help. But when he wakes up, the forests are the least of his concerns. Kilan finds he has stumbled upon a castle, hidden deep in the woods, filled with servants and young masters who feel like they might just be more then they seem. And there are the thorns. Thousands upon thousands of thorns that cover the grounds and yet only cover one tower - why? And what about the dreams? The girl in the rose room? She seems so real, almost familiar, and yet he can only see her when he sleeps within the castle walls. She isn't there and he has not the time for a Sleeping Beauty. He has other things to contend himself with, in reality - in the waking world. His most prized possession is gone. A story book that means the world to him is lost within the forests - or worse, someone has their hands on it. Above all, it must be found, he has no time for a girl in dreams and the curse placed upon her - he writes fairy tales, he does not live them. He must find the book and be away from the strange Rose Castle. But someone has already noted his presence and has taken an interest in him. An interest one would not wish for. ~~~~~~ (Please Note: These books link but it is NOT ESSENTIAL that you read them in order - they stand alone as well as link together) The Rose Quartet Reading Order: Beauty and The Beast: http://w.tt/1wczujq Sleeping Beauty The Frog Prince: http://w.tt/1KphNHL Little Red Riding Hood: http://w.tt/1PBaNbs ~~~~ Cover picture by: Selene Regener Check them out: http://selenada.deviantart.com/

The story of the sleeping beauty has been told time after a time. A beautiful princess cursed to sleep forever. A handsome brave prince that rescues her. A true love's kiss that wakes her up. It's a story as old as time, known in nearly every single realm as one of the most romantic tales. Unfortunately, time has erased some of the most important elements: 1) The story takes place in Narnia, a fact forgotten by many in our world. 2) The princess did more than just sleep during the battle, people just go straight to the climax without taking into consideration the rest of the plot. 3) It was no handsome prince who rescued her, but a King. High King Peter, the magnificent, to be precise. Follow the story of Rory Browning (or better known to all the worlds as Princess Aurora) and her journey of self-discovery and true love.
