⠀⠀⠀⠀ ❝ I wear my broken heart like a badge or a necklace.
⠀⠀⠀⠀I wear it around my neck and on my shirt like an
⠀⠀⠀⠀accessory and I don't try to hide it. I let people know
⠀⠀⠀⠀that I've had my heart torn into a thousand pieces and
⠀⠀⠀⠀therefore, I am invincible. It will take so much more to
⠀⠀⠀⠀tear me down. I have a broken heart and yet, I am still
⠀⠀⠀⠀standing on my own two feet. I survived heartbreak and
⠀⠀⠀⠀that is not something to be ashamed about. I am strong
⠀⠀⠀⠀and my heart may be broken, but I am not broken. I am
⠀⠀⠀⠀strong enough to stand back up despite what has happened
⠀⠀⠀⠀to me in my past. I am more than the parts of me that are
⠀⠀⠀⠀broken, the parts of me that other people have destroyed.
⠀⠀⠀⠀I am here, and I am breathing, and I am smiling. If that is not
⠀⠀⠀⠀strength, then I don't know what strength is. ❞
