Samantha Slater has just graduated high school. She's been through several different bad foster homes, but now that she's 18, she's going to strike out on her own and make the most of life. Just as she was planning a whirlwind backpacking trip around the world, a certain agent of SHIELD stepped into her life to introduce her to all kinds of new possibilities and adventures. Samantha has a once in a lifetime opportunity to meet new people, see new places, and even fall in love, but no matter what happens, one thing's for sure: she's going to need to stay on her toes if she wants a shot at saving Grant Ward.
