Jones was feeling great! That is until he overheard Ramirez & another officer talk about something everyone agreed to forget. He goes to everyone he could but no one tells him the whole truth. So he looks it up himself & eventually scares himself to the point of having nightmares. He contacts you in the middle of the night a few times before you decide that maybe you should tell him the truth about what happened in that interrogation room. For his sake.

I suck at summaries.

The BAU team gets called to Elroy, Wisconsin to investigate murders of five young people, three women and two men in their twenties, having nothing but their appereance in common. The thing disturbing to most of the team is the fact all the victims look similiar to someone they know. Hotch orders Reid to stay at the station because he's worried about te doctor. The unsub is one of the most difficult ones the team had to deal with so far, so after the team, excluding the young doctor, and most of the officers leave to arrest possible suspect, they find it was a fake call, they come back to devasted place, the officers that stayed behind all lying on the floor, not remembering anything that has happened since their colegues left, and of course everyone's worst fear came true, the unsub got Reid. Later two other bodies are found, one female and one male, neither of them being able to get identified, until the unsub is caught, when getting asked about the FBI agent's wherabouts only replies with "Thought you would find him by now" while having satisfied smirk on his face. No one can tell wheter the unsub is bluffing or not, and as much as the team wishes he was, while discovering the unsub's hideout they find some of his victims alive, their worst fear being confirmed. They had lost the doctor... or did they? ____________ -this is my first fanfic, also English is my 2nd language, so excuse any mistakes and/or errors -I do not own the show 'Criminal Minds' nor the characters -also obvious trigger warnings for death, violence, swearing, maybe 'boy x boy' and 'girl x girl' relationships (even between the main characters and bcs I'm a multishipper idk which ones I want to include yet) probably alcohol or drugs as well (if anything else comes to mind, will add before mentioned in fanfiction)

MONSTERS WEAR MASKS

21 parts Complete Mature

Detective Elias Voss spent years chasing shadows, hunting down the enigmatic criminal known as The Watcher-a mastermind who used riddles and twisted games to expose the darkest truths of society. But when Voss finally catches the villain, the true game begins. The Watcher doesn't fight. They don't run. They simply smile and whisper: "You were never supposed to find me." From that moment, Voss's world begins to unravel. As he delves deeper into the case, the lines between justice and corruption blur. He bends rules, breaks laws, and makes choices he swore he never would-all in the name of stopping the evil he once despised. But every step forward only leads him closer to a chilling realization: He isn't hunting the Watcher anymore. He is becoming them. Now, the city is searching for a new villain. What they don't realize is that their hero has already transformed into the monster he was chasing. And as the final riddle is left behind-etched in walls, whispered in the streets, painted in mirrored eyes-one question remains: "Was he always meant to fall... or did the world push him to it?" In this gripping psychological thriller, Monsters Wear Masks explores the terrifying truth that sometimes, the only difference between a detective and a villain... is perspective.
