Teenage Nancy of Oaksville, Ohio struggles to keep up in her classes at school. Depression consumes her, so she turns to drugs to silence the pain no one knows she feels. Once she finds out she is pregnant, things only get worse. The father of her unborn child is the man who raped her THAT night. No one knows she was raped and she lies to everyone about who the dad is. Shaking in fear of what HE would do if she tells anyone, Nancy feels defeated and lost. Crossing the street after school, she gets hit by a car. What happens afterwards changes everything. Her mind is taken to a different galaxy.
