They won three lotteries, which gave them enough money (with extra) to buy a new house or to rebuild the old one. Though they thought that Tord died during the incident, they would think of him from time to time and they would be sad. But, he sat back and watched Tom and Edd's relationship grow, until the end of highschool came and they were officially together. Maybe that was the reason Tord shared an equal amount of depression and jealousy. Maybe that's when he showed up, Tord can't say he remembers much of how he got here. But, for one thing, that's not Tord.
