Lauretta has been in an orphanage since few days after her birth. She had suffered several nightmarish experiences from moving from one adoptive home to the other. She was tossed around and each home gave her painful scars to last a lifetime...including witnessing the murder of her second adoptive mother. Many years has passed and now she is an independent young woman working with her country's television station; engaged to be married and could call herself someone's daughter and family. But a dangerous person is on the loose and seems to be targeting everyone from Lauretta's past. Is she in danger too and why is her painful past being resurrected just when everything was working out for once in her life? Everyone is not whom they seem and anyone could be the criminal...the battles in the shadows with unknown enemies is a path no one should tread and Lauretta is caught right in the middle of it.
