I loved the way his hands felt in mine, and although it wasn't  a new sensation, it made me feel like I was seventeen again, in the back of my dad's pickup, straddling him with sweat running down my body and onto his.

His soft hands kept me stable even though he was the one that was losing a battle.

It pained me so dearly to see him in such a poor state when not long ago we were all acting like immature kids again at Mikey's cabin.

And if it hadn't been for that goddamned cabin then I wouldn't have to suffer by seeing him in such a state because chances are, I would've never seen him again.All Rights Reserved
