Finding Happiness Spinoff - Jordan (Cole's best friend) My past haunts me. I don't do relationships because of it. I hook up, one night no feelings. Feelings make things difficult and I do not like complications. The moment I saw her I knew she was going to ruin me. Break every wall I've build around my heart. It started to happen just by the first glance. My Mom always told me I'll have to grow the hell up sometime, I guess this is growing up. I never wanted anyone more than I wanted her, when one night turned into two nights, then all the sudden we woke up tangled together I knew I was a goner. I needed her, I needed everything about her. Proving I was good enough for her was the only thing I was worried about. I have Daddy issues. Mine wasn't around much, I mean like he's around just didn't give a crap about my brother or me. I'm not close to my Mother either so I guess I have Mommy issues too. I'm just a big blob of issues, I don't do commitments because of this. I've worked my ass off in school to be where I'm at now, and I don't need a man to mess any of that up. I'm not a slut, I just know what I want, and a relationship is not that. Then I had one night with him, that one night changed my entire life, it quickly moved into two nights then we were basically together all the time. I walked away from the best thing that has ever happened to me. Maybe I'll find my way back when I'm not so scared to ruin his life. This story has a lot more bedroom scenes than the others just beware before hand! There is loss, and PTSD, and may have some triggers so here is your warning. Hope you enjoy! An amorous tale which is not one of grand romantic gestures or picture-perfect moments. It was woven through time, stitched together with silent promises, unspoken feelings, and an unbreakable bond that endured separation, pain and the weight of the past. A girl, who is a war journalist, had spent years witnessing the horror of battlefield, carrying the weight of lost lives and shattered dreams. The war in zahran had taken more from her than she could ever put into words - her peace, her friends and a part of herself she feared she could never reclaim. When she returned, broken and distant, she had one instinct - to run. An she did. Leaving behind him, the only constant she had ever know, without a single goodbye. He searched for her, never giving up, never forgetting. The six years of her absence had changed him too. One night, she returned, but wasn't the same. She carried nightmares in her eyes and scars on her soul. He never once asked her why she left- he just chose to stay. He let his presence speak louder than words, offering her the patience, the space and the quiet love. Their love wasn't rushed. It wasn't dramatic. It was real - formed in the depths of understanding, in the warmth of silent support, in small things that meant everything. It was love that had endured war, separation and time. And in the end, it was love that found it's way back home. Because love like theirs wasn't meant to be lost - it was meant to be fought for.

How do you tell your best friend you love them? How do you know they feel the same? How do you stop your heart getting broken in the process? Honestly, in a place, you feel comfortable with the other and just take the risk. You don't unless they are an open book of emotions. Hearts are made to be broken; if it's not by them someone else will break it somehow. This is a situation for two pairs of best friends separated by the decades... In 1950 Corinne goes on a month long trip with her family to the Madison businesses, taking an aching heart with her. Add a slightly secretive father, fainting mother, three brothers with two of them looking to take over the business and a serving girl Elsie, you get a relatively normal posh family. Corinne's childhood friend Callum carries an aching heart while she is away and misses her presence. Him, Corinne and a few others have been clueless about how they have always felt for each other, the others knowing all along. So when the others give him an opportunity, Callum tells Corinne how he feels after a card game threat and a surprise night visit from Corinne. In 2015 being in a military family is hard, which is what Dae and Dustin know first hand. The pair of them have a ridiculous amount of connections, few being known like how Dae's mother served with Dustin's father throughout deployments. Dae had always pushed Dustin away when he wanted to get closer. On the run up to Valentine's day Dustin has a grand plan in which he hopes Dae manages to see how he feels. Presents appear in her locker, her dad gets back from deployment with a companion she was certain was not breathing and then a gift bag which Smoke doesn't react to which makes her suspicious. With your mum being trained as a bomb dog handler that's natural right? Even her dad is in on the plan. Will Dustin leave with the heart he's always wanted or will he get turned away again?
