During a mission to recapture the Skrill after the twins and Snotlout let it escape, Hiccup is struck by the Skrill's lightning and loses his ability to speak coherent sentences. Now that he can only blab gibberish, and Dagur and the Skrill are still at large, Hiccup feels like his life is spinning out of control. How is the leader of the Dragon Riders supposed to lead his team when his friends can't even understand him?

Welcome new and old readers to the official re-write of Betrothed! The Dagur/reader fan fiction that was previously written by a 16 year old who had no idea how to write apart from taking GCSE English! Now that I'm graduating University and re-watching the How to train your dragon series, I figure I've got enough motivation to re-write the original Betrothed as well as Forgiveness in the future! A few warnings I'd include are very unhealthy relationships from everyone's favourite Berserker Chief, as well as some slight non-consensual touching (nothing nsfw at all though) and a few non-consensual kisses.
