Elaina Duval has lived a normal life for her eighteen years, or so she thought. It's always been her and her mother but it wasn't until her eighteenth birthday that everything changed.

Valentino Acerbi is the son of the Italian mafia capo, he was raised in the ruthless business and had only that mind.

Somehow Elaina gets pulled into this twisted world and it forced to endure ways of life she never knew was even possible.

From as little as harsh words to as much as fatal gunshots, Elaina has never experienced anything so brutal in her eighteen years but Valentino Acerbi is unlike any man she has ever met; he's cruel, heartless, and seems to feed on the pain that he inflicts on others.
