"It's been too long, hasn't it?" She ran a gloved hand over the diary caked with dust, "Far too long..."

Link examined the worn, grey chamber, adorned with cobwebs and fragments of recollection. His fingers trailed along the ravines in the stone, the padding of his boots echoed eerily in the soulless chasm.

She smiled, flipping a page, "Surely enough, even with most of our burdens lifted, you still can't find the words yet."

Zelda glanced in her peripheral to witness a shy smile cross his lips.

"Maybe the words just can't find me."

"...Yet."

《This story takes place right after the events that occurred in Breath of the Wild》

""Everyone knows the tale of the Princess of Goddess Blood and the Hero of Legendary Spirit. How they are reborn every generation to fight the forces of Darkness that endlessly threatens the land. But what if there was a generation where things were different...?"" 30 years have passed since the Great Calamity had vanished from the land of Hyrule, and the kingdom had grown back to its former glory. The princess has made her triumphant return and was united with her knight in marriage. Prince Link, their only son, is the heir of Hyrule's throne. (Y/n), a young farm girl, is aiming to be the first female knight Hyrule had ever seen. She is the closest thing Link has ever had to a friend. All the knight captains believe she isn't strong enough, a "foolish young girl with a death wish". But she didn't back down, and eventually became one of the best, even ranking to top knighthood. But during the officiating knighthood ceremony, a premature reincarnation of darkness, Ganadaur, kidnaps the prince to wed him during the fabled Blood Moon. So now it is up to (Y/n) to save her friend before he is married to the latest incarnation of power. With the help of some friends along the way, she'll need to gather the power necessary to save her prince, as well as learn her destiny. Can she do it in time? **story includes Slight!Various x Reader** (Also vailable on Quotev: https://www.quotev.com/story/9329579/%D0%BC%D1%83-%D0%BD%D1%94%D1%8F%CF%83%CE%B9%D0%B8%D1%94-PrinceLink-x-HeroReader ) Accomplishments: #1 linkxreader #1 roleswap #1 heroreader

((read whole description to know what you're getting into xD)) There is a secret hiding in the nation of Hyrule. For centuries this land has been a democracy, but few actually know just what is going on behind the scenes. What use are the old tales when no one even believes in magic anymore? Zelda is a girl who lives her life trapped within the walls of her family's mansion. She only leaves to go to school, and there she meets someone who will quite literally change her life forever. ((Please don't swear in my comment section. If you do, I'll delete it. Hate speech, swearing, and inappropriate comments will all be deleted.)) WARNING; This story has only been partially edited and I cringe to high heaven reading it. I don't mind you enjoying it, so I'll leave it up but don't judge my writing by this book. If you can't stand it, like me, please head on over to Raising the Stakes, which I have put much more time and effort into and is a million times better. The Legend of Zelda is (c) to Nintendo.
