Hyrule is at peace, or so the Royal Family would have its people believe. Something is afoot in the kingdom, and someone needs to do something about it. Least likely would be Marksmen Link Sayre- a mercenary and monster hunter doing his best to get by. Until a job goes wrong, and he gets roped into the secret plans of Hyrule's princess. Written in Blood . {After OoT/MM fic} Hyrule is on the brink of another bloody war when he returns, the hero that had slipped away to be forgotten by the land. No longer a hero, living a life of isolation far away from the land that had made him a legend once. Resentful and broken, Link hides it best he can, trying to focus on the future and forget. But Zelda remembers him, the person he once was. He's so different now, and perhaps she is too. The whole land is, transformed by war as Ganondorf works to seize all that he believes once belonged to him, in a time no longer. Both Link and Zelda find themselves in the middle of this war, forced to fight and strategize and deal with their own inner demons as well as each other, amidst the war the Hylians fight to regain their land and defeat the King of Thieves. > < . Memories of stories told by her father of the Warrior and the Princess defending Hyrule for generations and the memories Link must gather to remember who he is lead them on their path. But while she knows that Link belongs with Princess Zelda according to the story, that's not how their adventures will play out. Sila becomes Link's Spark of Hope that gives him strength to push back Calamity Ganon and defend Hyrule. With the power of all three, will they push back the darkness and save Hyrule? {Not a Silent Link Story - He's a man of little words in this story but I'll leave the talking heads off to Sila, promise.}

It's a princess's dream to be swooped away by her knight in shining armour, but for Zelda, this knight has to be a prince as well, in order to follow the King's rules. Link and Zelda's love is put at stake when trust and loyalty are tested. Can the two break through the laws to pursue their love, or will they give in and follow the path chosen for them? This is the Story of Link becoming the Hero of the Wild. The Hero of Hyrule, and foremost the biggest Talk all over Hyrule. He was the strongest and best warrior, and it's obvious to anyone who knows Link, not everyone does, unfortunately. Even the person he has to protect with his life, later on, doesn't know him and only troubles his life even more. Having to fight against all the people you swore to protect is hard but Link can do it. Right? The characters are not owned by me they are from Nintendo, also this Story will play before the Calamity and it will also be a lot different than the original game. There is a similar (yet very different) idea written as a Story by @HylianAtHeart the Story is called "The Origin of a Champion" and it's one of the best Storys I've ever read. So check it out.
