Dagger's Point is a legend, a mere myth that trainer's tell their clients about. It is said that he holds the devil within him, that they share the same blood. It is not often that a dressage prospect brings about the death of not one, but two riders. Even if presented as a myth or legend, he is real, rotting away in a stable away from the other's, a black mark on an otherwise perfect stable. 

Ollie Brooke is an almost accomplished equestrian, having ridden up to the Fourth Level, and started to prepare for the Intermediate's when tragedy strikes her life. First it is the death of her mother, a freak accident, followed a year later with a storm that tears her father's barn to shreds. Her horse is among one of the few casualties.
