Nephenee was abandoned on the door step of royal guards captain's door step when she was just a little girl, raised as his own Nephenee spent most of her early childhood in service to the king sneaking out to watch her father practice however one day was discover...her father was too happy with her for interrupting the knights training but seeing a spark in her eyes began to train her, many people believed this to be a waste of time believing female knights would never be able to best a male knight. Over the course of her training she met the prince and became very close sneaking out at night to talk and play with him in the royal garden, as the years went by though she found new feelings for the prince surfacing but held them back believing she would be ridiculed by others. The king however very clearly saw the way Nephenee looked at his son and when the war broke out used it as an excuse to send her into the think of the fighting hoping she would either move on, perish, or give his son enough time to find another girl to adore him like Nephenee. For the first year Nephenee wrote back to the prince to let him know she was alright however his letters became few...due to the king intercepting her letters. The last letter Nephenee sent and the last the prince received was message informing him that she had been selected along with several others to storm a fort under enemy control...she and her group had been captured and held prisoners for several months leaving Nephenee with scars on her back and shoulders. The Prince left with informative lies that she had died within enemy lines, never to be seen again.
