Coming from a troublesome household with a neighbourhood just as chaotic, Azalea James always looked for a way out―An escape, which she eventually found in dance as it offered her solace she never knew. The older Azalea got the more her interest in the art grew and eventually, she moved into a new neighbourhood away from her household and decided to pursue a career in dance, a career her parents would never approve of. She became a stripper. One of the best in fact. However, as ambitious as Azalea is, she saw there was much more she could do with her life and her talent than stay in this profession, and decided to build a dance studio that caters to people interested in learning the art of pole dancing. This decision leads her to catch the eye of a man who is relentless about pursuing her, Akeem Ali, the talented and famous basketball player. Akeem Ali was well known for playing for the Garvey's, well that was until he was met with misfortune―an injury that cost his team games after games. Not wanting to deal with his misfortune any longer, Akeem was traded to the 39ers with the help of his friend. And although the 39ers are a great team, Akeem still struggles to consider it home as he believes like all things and people, he is replaceable. Though this doesn't stop him from proving to others and himself that he is anything but that. Both Azalea and Akeem are determined to reach the highest possible point in their careers to achieve that comfortability and security they crave, but will determination be enough against the obstacles they may face? And will their budding relationship survive the uncertainty of life?
