Her words didn't make sense to me. "Yeah. Food, for eating." She gestured shoveling something into her mouth and chewing it before swallowing. "Eat? Humans haven't eaten for at least two centuries." I stared at her as if she was dumb, but then I remembered. The pod, the clothes. She just travelled in time. "So that's why you're so skinny," she looks at me with glittering eyes, "Well, if there is no food. Could you show me the way out of this cave so I can go look around? There must be so many new things to see!" I stare at her again and slowly shake my head. "Has no one ever travelled to see our era? Or are you time travelers always this oblivious. Sure, I can show you to the outside of the cave. Just let me go grab my clothes." ----------------------------------------------------- Many years after earth has died, humans still remain. Desperately looking for new ways to live in a place so barren. Alice gets blown away from every chance of survival by a sandstorm and is left to fend for herself. Somehow, with great luck, she finds herself a shelter from the world and plans to stay there until she can find her family again. Enter Sandra. A yound time traveller who wanted to explore the future. Breaking the travel ban she gets into the nearest time pod, and brings it as far forward as she can.
