"Murdock lied."
Arthur paused, his quill hovering above the parchment like a reluctant bird of prey.
"Merlin," the Prince started, his eyes already rolling, his nose already wrinkling, "I don't think-"
"No, Arthur. Murdock lied. He lied about everything."
