Sarah is now eighteen years old and on her way to college. ever since she had returned back home from her adventure through the labyrinth, she learned to love her stepmother and the two became very close. Sarah has also been dating a young man named James.

Toby was now five years old and didn't remember much about the Labyrinth but loves hearing Sarah tell him stories about it, which he loves hearing over and over. while Sarah is at college, she gets a visit from all her friends from the Labyrinth once again, including Jareth, The Goblin King! She decides to give the labyrinth one last visit.
