"ID - 0362" was the name given to the protagonist. After a lab explosion he had lost his memories and fainted on the streets due to hunger. A rich man saw this boy and out of pity, took him in and after finding out he had no family decided to adopt him.  This rich man just so happened to be a principal of a school dedicated to completing a tower called Sincrad - With 100 floors and a boss on each floor no one has been able to pass floor 50. When ID - 0362 enrolls into this school and tries out this tower he realizes his memories slowly come back and he decides to try to complete it. But what he doesn't know is that in the school lurks the most dangerous boss of all.
