Then it hit me, Shadow was missing, Sonic was flirting with Sally, I felt like something punched me in the heart. After ten, long, painful years, I got a job as a spy with Rouge, with Shadow still missing, the missions have been harder, tougher. 
I changed, I was able to keep my jealousy for Sonic secret, I could control my emotions better now. I have a new mission, I have to investigate the life presences in the forest we would be putting an underground base.

But only Amy Rose is aware of Shadow's illness after witnessing Shadow consuming human and Mobian remains behind a restaurant dumpster. Amy vows to keep Shadow's condition a secret not only for the safety of Sonic and the gang but for the universe...but if G.U.N finds out the ultimate life form and their top agent as dangerous... it could result in him being held captive, being detained against his will and experimented on as long as possible. Despite the life threatening situation, Shadow and Amy's connection grows closer and closer which ultimately leads to them having an affair which eventually leads them to being together, much to the disdain of not only Sonic, but to the entire group, unfortunately, it later becomes a weakness which will give Mephiles a possible one up against the team Will Amy and the rest of the crew find a cure for Shadow's condition or will he forever be Mephiles' murderous puppet? I originally made the story as a short story which was the first chapter of this story however I soon decided to make it have its own book as it is hard to make this into only 2 parts! May have multiple endings. Mainly Shadamy but has SonAmy too. (I want to clarify I wrote this story and I had inspo from a comic I read in high school back then. So full credits to them for inspiring me. However I did this story entirely on my own with my writing style. I came up with the plots and characters' development. Five weeks ago, E123-Omega went on a routine mission. The mission, to destroy an old abandoned Eggman base. But, he hasn't returned yet. Commander Towers has called Agent Shadow and Agent Rouge in to find their missing partner, and bring him back safely. Shadow, however, hasn't been acting normal lately, and Rouge is worried for his health. And now cant seem to keep her feelings for the dark hedgehog secret much longer. Will Shadow finally catch on to all the subtle hints his teammate has been sending his way? Will the duo find Omega? You'll have to read to find out. So I know this opening is written really cliche, and the title really isn't the best. And I have changed it to be rated mature. There will be some lemons, although I'm going to build into and probably only do the one, since that really isn't the point of the story. And I'm probably going to make it to where if you don't to read that, I'll put it all into a chapter that will have no big impact on the story, so it can be easily skipped. So i wanted to take a crack at making a Shadouge story myself. I feel as though I can be a good writer, I just have some things I need to touch up on. I'm going to try to make this better than my ShadAmy story (which I still like, I just rushed the relationship to much, and really screwed up the ending I feel). Anyways, the point of rambling, is that I want constructive criticism for this story. I want to make sure it is the best I can do for the community that likes this ship. So any advice on future chapters, along with just general improvements to the story that you all think I could make. (By the way, take a shot every time you read the phrase 'open up' in this first chapter.) None of the art is mine, along with the characters involved. I do not own any of the Sega branded characters.
