So once tom does find tord, they have to try to escape from the government military. Then the apocalypse, and there both apart of a prophecy! And worst of all... Edd. 

Yes. All of the characters are gonna die except for one. Only one can live... or maybe they will find a way to cheat the prophecy about both of them dying.
