However, unknown to the supernatural community, Issei survived and was taken in by Tenmei Mikogami, a Kenshin who happens to be the headmaster of Yokai Academy - a school for monsters. While training under Tenmei Mikogami, Issei also attends Yokai Academy to further his education. After two years, Issei Hyoudou returns to Kouh. Follow Issei as he seeks vengeance and aims to restore the Sparda name, one of the 72 Pillars of the underworld. Will Issei be able to find the murderers of his adoptive and biological families, or will his thirst for power cloud his judgment?

One night after finally obtaining his first contract he believes this might help bring Rias back to the person that everyone knows, but something went terribly wrong. When Issei was about to show her his progress he saw and heard something that would not only break his heart, but also his spirit. Upon seeing his host in this state Ddraig decides to remind Issei of his past so that he could keep moving forward. Now being fully awakened, Issei sets out to start a new life in a different world to obtain his peace and quiet. But gaining his peace and quiet will not be as easy as he might think since this new world has problems of its own and the past will always come back to haunt him.
