Mattie-Rae and Brittney are now entering high school. Being freshmen and on scholarship at a preppy school is new for them. Especially since they're alone, too. Matt takes a scholarship to Eden Hall Academy with all the Ducks, except for Jesse and Portman, while Britt goes to LA with her father on scholarship to Crystal County Academy. While Matt's struggling with problems with the JV Warriors, Britt's taking the higher road with the JV Thunderbirds, though, she's got her problems too.
