The assassination of King Regis should've been a simple job, right?

Angelica learned pretty early on that she was different. Her skills and heritage set her far apart from others. She was feared by her classmates at school, and often found herself all alone. The crown prince became her first friend, and from then on, he and his companions became the only people she knew she could trust. Things were finally looking up for her.

But then, the empire's attack on the Citadel leaves Angelica without a mother, and without a king. She finds herself overwhelmed by rage and sets out on a quest for revenge. It's up to her friends to keep her from falling into her own darkness. Will they succeed, or will Angelica's heart be consumed by her inner daemons? And why is the prince's loyal advisor, of all people, so afflicted by this?

I don't own Final Fantasy XV or any of the pictures I use in this, I only own my OC's, the plotline, and some side characters.

#SHORTLISTED 2023 When Ixis became the second in command to the Throneholder of Opalis she expected rules, patrols and structure for her Fire Trait to shine. Not being caught in the middle of a looming war and a botched assassination she should've succeeded at. In an attempt to drown her sorrows and flee from the looming expectations of helping to lead a war against the demons that threaten their world, Ixis is injured through mysterious circumstances. Forced to return home, the last thing she expects to find is the assassin she couldn't kill pleading for her help. ........ Rider wasn't much of an assassin. Burdened by her past, her curse, and the trauma of what the Throneholder of Opalis did to her, she fully expected the reunion with her old flame to go exactly the way she planned. But when Rider has no choice but to flee her quest for answers, the last person she expected to help her was Ixis: Lady Aria's new Regent. Once they were allies. Now they are enemies. But despite their differing loyalties, they are forced to learn a little more about the circumstances and choices that slowly change everything they thought they knew about each other. Especially when Ixis' Fire Trait begins to heal and for the first time in years, Rider's curse decides to let her. When their begrudging respect unravels into more than just a friendship, they both must choose whether duty or revenge is more important than the love that grows between them. But the demons wait for no one.

Disclaimer: I only own Serafina Lucis Caelum and Sebastian Nox Fleuret. The story, as well as the characters within belong to Tetsuya Nomura and Square Enix. This story is not meant for any profit, only for fun. This is merely a reimagined take of the story if my OC was a part of it and it was from her perspective. This will include events from Kingsglaive, Episode Ignis and Episode Prompto. Serafina Lucis Caelum, Crown Princess of Lucis, has just arrived in her home kingdom after three long years of being in Tenebrae with the Fleuret house, all in time for the upcoming treaty that could essentially end the thirty year long war between Niflheim and Lucis. Tensions are high as she attempts to convince her father out of holding the treaty altogether but her attempts come up failing, leading to the death of King Regis and the destruction of the Crown City. After safely evacuating from the crumbling city she always called home alongside her fellow Oracle, Lunafreya Nox Fleuret, Serafina must reunite with her brother to escort him to Altissia where Prince Noctis and Lady Lunafreya are to be wed. But when things turn for the worst, Serafina must decide whether to uphold the duties of a sister or the duties of an Oracle to aid Noctis to his destiny after the death of her fellow Oracle. But her destiny falls short when she marries the one man she hates more than anything, leading her to live an eternal life of darkness when it comes time for her brother to ascend the throne.

The gentle and romantic love story: You are part of the Kingsglaive and King Regis has asked you to accompany Noctis and his friends on their journey. The four men don't seem to happy about it, but maybe they'll learn to like you over time. This story is about Ignis. Don't forget to read my other fanfics about the other guys. Also I don't own any of this. All credit goes to Square Enix for making such an incredible game. Excerpt from Chapter 6: "I know your tired," I said, "so why don't you go to bed and I'll follow shortly." He looked up suddenly and tightened the grip on my hand, "Absolutely not. A man should never let a woman cry alone." My face burned even redder than it had before from the tears, "Please, allow me to worry and take care of you. Just like I do for the others." I thought for a moment, "I will, on one condition." He looked scared to hear what I had to say next, "Anything," "Let me worry about you. If you won't do it someone else has to." He smiled shyly and stared down at our hands. He was now turned towards me and placed his other hand atop mine. He rubbed his ungloved fingers on the back of my palm. "Alright,"
