Lady Anne Crawley is an up and coming society girl of England post Edwardian Upper Class. This is something that she has been looking forward to but also dredging for many years now. Her Aunt Rosamund Painswick, whom she has lived with since she was 14 after the tragic death of her parents, tells her that her sister-in-law the Countess of Grantham has asked to her come and say at Downton Abbey since she is of age. This means leaving gloomy London and breathing the fresh Yorkshire air. What will come of this adventure? Will she follow tradition and marry for convenience or marry for love?
