~The story begins in 1964~

It seemed like an ordinary day in Sydney, Australia. As you passed the Villawood Migrant Hostel while walking the streets, the faint sound of music could be heard from inside one of the buildings, sparking your interest and changing your life forever.

(Take note that the first few chapters are using the member's real names before they adopted their stage names, so don't get confused!)

Sydney didn't have much, but that was fine with her. She didn't need much. Growing up on the Washington coast in a lonely beach town, working quietly behind the scenes was what she was good at. Living on the beach was much less glamorous than most people imagine. Her home was a beat up old Winnebago that she had shared with her father until he passed. Her father had been a detached parent. He loved his daughter of course, but he was by no means an affectionate man. She had grown up fending for herself, working backstage at a bar that hosted live bands using a fake ID. After the death of her father she saw an ad for a guitar technician for a local Seattle band. A love of rock and roll had been the one thing that her and her dad had in common. Selling everything that she didn't need she packed up her pickup truck and travelled north to the city, leaving the sleepy town in her rear view mirror. She didn't expect to embark on what would become the adventure of a lifetime. For someone who had hardly left the town she grew up in, the opportunity to get paid to travel the country and listen to great music was a dream come true. The band became her family, and life on the road was a perfect fit for her. Chris Cornell instantly became Sydney's best friend in the whole world. They were in love, that was plain as day to anyone who paid attention. Yet, sometimes love isn't as simple as it should be. Sometimes, love hurts. Warning: This book covers potentially triggering subjects such as depression, suicidal ideation, domestic abuse, sexual assault, poverty and drug use. These are issues that many of us have faced and are very real. If you or a loved one is experiencing suicidal thoughts or abuse in a relationship, please reach out and find help. Disclaimer: This book was made 4 years before the announcement for the final season of Mystreet in 2025. My book finally serves no purpose!! But because of that, literally all of this book is just for fun. And literally, honestly, didn't cover the shit it should've. But, I was like 13 at the time lmao. Anyway, enjoy. Everyone has just came back from Starlight, and it's time to see how life back on the street will be after all the trama everyone has been through. What will happen? Good things or bad, it's great to be home. #14 in Zanechan #15 in Garrance
