"It was because I fell in love with you and I was scared."

"How can you be scared of falling in love? Especially when I gave you everything I had an all you did was throw it away. You never cared, did you?"

                                           ~

The stereotype for the offspring of a hockey legend is that they get everything handed to them. With Madison Gretzky it is quite the opposite. Not only is she the middle daughter of "The Great One" Wayne Gretzky, former captain of the Edmonton Oilers, but she's also carving her own path in her hockey career. With her being a girl it makes everything ten times harder, but they always say you'll find a way to make something happen, right?

Through her ups and downs of fighting through the tears and the heartache Madison meets Connor McDavid who is suffering through his own personal issues. The two don't exactly "click" and it certainly wasn't love at first sight. Although the two argue constantly and often chirp every now and then, the hatred quickly begins to fade.
