It is cushioned and shrouded with a fake representation of family, love, and pleasure. Everyone follows the rhythm, the system, the tap, the tick, that provides them security and peace. 

It disturbs you - when a person - a man, wearing a bright purple shirt - is out of rhythm with the ticking of the Clocks.
