It was a battle long fought.

No one was winning, but no one was willing to stand back either.

We were being hunted, hunted because we cried. Or smiled. Or laughed.

Hunted because we couldn't hide everything that so desperately wanted to get out.

Our emotions.

They called us Voids. They wanted us dead.

They wanted the world to be a blank canvas of cold stares and quiet voices.

And Echo was the main target.

~~~~~~~~~~~~
Everyone saw me as a mistake. At least other Void's chose to hide. I had no option.
Because eventually, there are to many tears and the damn breaks.
Eventually, the weight of the world crushes me and I cry.
And I can't hold back.
A few felonies and a couple missiles later, Zane and his friends are free of the barbaric walls of New Vancouver. As secrets are revealed and pasts are brought into the light, Zane begins to feel closer and closer to the people he calls his friends. But the orchestrator of the experiment is relentless and pursues them furiously wherever they deem to go. Zane questions the morality of his actions as he fights for what he believes is right and aims to avert total nuclear war. He is forced into the dangerous life of a biological weapon and is thrust into a situation where there is only one choice: face your past or claim your future. Don't Forget Me In The Morning
19 parts Complete Mature
When I was little, I was never healthy for a full day. When I would go to school, I would carry around an oxygen tank so that I could breathe properly. There was once where I had come close to death. At that time, my mother and father promised me that they wouldn't ever leave me. That is, until someone came in an murdered them while I was at school. When I was dropped off from the bus stop, I automatically knew something was wrong because my mother would always wait for me. When she wasn't there, I began to get worried. 'Had she forgotten?' Was the first thing I thought as I walked up the stairs and into my house. 'Mama? Papa?' I questioned walking into their room. As I made the first step in, I heard squishing under my feet as if the carpet was wet.
