Y/N Y/LN has been part of the Avengers since the start, she's battled against Loki, Ultron and Hydra. Now the team is her family and everybody loves her. One day the whole team disappears for a mission, half of them come back the next day, two weeks later the rest of the team, minus one. No one wants to tell her what happened. Steve Rogers, her best friend, comes back three whole months later, with a new guy: Steve's childhood best friend Bucky. That's when she finds out that her family has been in a Civil War, all because of Bucky. Tony still can't see past the Winter Soldier, but Y/N can't help but see the broken man full of pain and empty of memories. - For the sake of my own sanity in this story Infinity War and Endgame do not happen. Also Pietro didn't die, Asgard did not get blown up and Loki is an Avenger. Scott also is an Avenger so let's pretend Cassie and her mother and the Pym family all live in New York :) - "You shouldn't be here..." he says quietly. He's still avoiding your question, so instead you ask "Why not?" "I could hurt you..." he says in a small, sad voice that breaks your heart. "Would you hurt me?" you ask. He frowns and almost immediately says "of course not" still very quietly. You give him a reassuring smile and say "Then I'm not worried." he finally looks up at you and gives you a small smile. - This was my first story so I'm sorry if the writing is not too good, I'll get better I promise. Also, English is my third language but I try my best, if you find mistakes feel free to point them out. - #38 in avengersfanfiction 01/08/2024 - I do not own any characters except for Y/N and any other character of my creation, all the rights belong to Marvel.

May 25, 2012. 35H-GQ. That was her name. A name for the girl who was left on the streets by her mother at the age of 2. A name for the girl who was imprisoned, tortured, and abused by none other than HYDRA. They saw her as a chance, an opportunity to test their dangerous, life-threatening experiments. It took 6 years for their experiments to finally snap and harm the innocent child. 35H-GQ turned deaf and it was entirely their fault. A few years later, something extraordinary happened. At the age of 11, 35H-GQ finally escaped HYDRA. It was a dark, gloomy night when it happened. The escape she'd been planning for years. She had finally........Hold on. How did she escape again? She couldn't remember. She idly wondered how she could have forgotten that plan. She ran, ran, and ran until her legs gave out and she could no longer breathe. As she sat on the floor panting, she saw a tiny ray of light flickering from beyond the horizon. She numbly walked towards the light and found herself in a city. 35H-GQ was awed. She gawked at every little detail, every dirty alley, and every tiny shop, just everything. She was amazed at how bright the lights were, at how the tall the skyscrapers reached to the clouds and beyond. As she gaped at New York City, looking like a lost puppy, she got lost in her thoughts. She couldn't believe it. After 9 years of imprisonment, she was finally free. Warning: This story is PG15. Strong langue included Disclaimer: I don't own Marvel, the characters, or some of the plot. It's been almost a month and a half since the destruction of Ultron and the city of Sokovia. No one has heard or seen Iris since. Little do they know that she's alive, well, and under the care of Carter, a man from her past. It isn't until Nick Fury picks Iris up from Carter's that Iris shows up unannounced at the New Avenger's facility, much to the bewilderment of the team. And, as always, Iris' luck is generally poor. After an accident on one of the New Avenger's missions, King T'Chaka of Wakanda brings up a serious concern that directly involves the Avengers and the way they work. Other issues arise and over 100 countries band together to create the Sokovia Accords. The Accords put the Avengers under the direct control of the United Nations, which strips the signing members of the freedom to fight when and where they believe they are needed. However, the Accords don't sit right with everybody on the team and it begins to tear friendships apart at the seams as some decide to sign. To make matters worse, a dirty bomb goes off and kills numerous people at the signing in Vienna. The worst part? Bucky Barnes is the one framed. Now he's the most wanted criminal in the world. But with the Accords in place, half the Avengers must sit on their hands and do nothing, while the other half tries to help Steve get his best friend back. It's like a bad game of high school dodgeball -- IT'S CIVIL WAR. •BOOK CONTAINS CIVIL WAR SPOILERS• [Book 2 of the Iris' Misadventures series] Copyright 2017-2022, All Rights Reserved, @RoyallySarcastic

Despite their best efforts to regain the trust of the world, the Avengers are still met with criticism. With every move they make under close scrutiny, they find themselves treading lightly to avoid more incidents akin to Ultron and the tragedy of Sokovia. When a new team of superheroes is entangled in disaster and an Avengers mission goes wrong, the government steps in with new legislation that would force all superheroes to register, and be overseen, by the government. Eager to right the wrongs of his past, Tony Stark is quick to join the government's efforts, believing that oversight will ensure that more disasters do not happen at the hands of the Avengers or any other super-powered individuals. In opposition of this is Steve Rogers, who believes that government oversight would enable politicians to decide who the villains are, forcing superheroes to become nothing more than political pawns. When the King of Wakanda is assassinated and Steve's old friend turned enemy, Winter Soldier, is implicated things become even more complicated. Forced to choose a side in a civil war, Dean Allen can't stop thinking about a far greater threat that lurks. Please note that this is an installment in an ongoing series. Reading out of order may cause confusion. The reading order for the series is: -Worthy -Avengers: Some Assembly Required -Love You to Asgard and Back -Eternal Night -Avengers: Peace in Our Time -Avengers: More Than a Mortal -Fantastic Four -Avengers: Divided We Fall -Asgardian Twilight -Avengers: Destiny Arrives -Captain America: Love in a Time of Loss -Avengers: Whatever It Takes -Avengers: A Wedding At Last -Avengers: Vengeance -Avengers: A Darker Shade of Scarlet
