Unearthing a nest of conspiracies, Captain Pina will be forced to reconsider everything he believes about the Empire he serves in events that will change the planet Farsalt forever, and with it the lives of the Lady Jish, handmaiden to the queen, and the Princess Tayre and her adopted sister Ella.

And for Assayer Neerada, tasked by Lord Vader to hunt down Force Sensitives, Farsalt presents an end and a beginning - but only if she can survive long enough.

Anakin Skywalker will not become Darth Vader. Not yet, anyway. Padmé saved him from a lifetime of regret by pulling him out of the fateful battle between Mace Windu and Chancellor Palpatine. But at some point, he still has to decide if his heart lies with the Jedi or the Sith. Palpatine, undeterred by the loss of his potential apprentice, still devises a way to create the Empire and wipe out the vast majority of the Jedi. He sends various threats directly to Anakin and Padmé to convince them that they and their newborn children are in danger. Fearing for their safety, they split. For years, Anakin and Leia wander throughout the galaxy, dodging the Empire and searching for a greater purpose. Meanwhile, Padmé raises Luke while working with Bail Organa and Mon Mothma to lead the fight against the oppressive Galactic Empire. Anakin is constantly tempted by the Dark Side. Padmé struggles to help the Rebels succeed. Their children mean everything to both of them. The story also features other characters we all know and love, such as Obi-Wan Kenobi, Ahsoka Tano, Han Solo, and Boba Fett. Most of the story takes place 7 years after Revenge of the Sith. As the new Supreme Leader takes the throne, the First Order is focused on finding and destroying all who oppose them. The Resistance had disappeared into hiding and desperation has forced them to explore the gray areas of war. Meanwhile, on opposite sides of the war, Rey and Kylo Ren are forced to face the realities of their bond, their complicated relationship, their loyalty to their causes, and their understanding of the Force. Could their star-crossed connection be tied to the fate of the galaxy? This is a slow burn! Enemies to friends to lovers. This story continues the arcs and themes beautifully woven through The Last Jedi, as well as the narrative from the previous two trilogies. All plot elements are intended to be canon-compliant through TLJ. This is 100% complete. It was completed in December 2019 on A03 before The Rise of Skywalker was released, so this is not a "fix-it" fic as much as an alternative to Episode IX. This is a dark story. This fanfic explores a different ending to TROS starting at about the halfway point, when Kylo reveals the truth about Rey in the hangar. It will focus mainly on their story but there will be significant plot arcs that focus on Finn, Poe, Leia, and others. There will be a few augmentations to the earlier story, but I have tried to stay true to the plot up until this point, except for the 16 hr deadline Palpatine gave them.
