Aeliana has lived a long time. She was once on top of the vampire and human world, ruling over all with her father, before the Volturi destroyed them all. Aeliana would be dead too, had she not found her mate that same battle. Instead of being happy, Aeliana felt betrayed and angry, choosing rather to run away. A millennium went by and Aeliana found herself as Aeliana Cullen. She was happier, yes, but the pain of missing a mate never went away.
