Xavier is dying. 

Everyone has heard of mates rejecting mates but never has anyone heard of wolves rejecting their chosen one. Xavier's mate is future alpha to one of the largest packs in the world and still growing. 

With Xavier's mate being homophobic and placing the packs needs over his mates, Xavier is rejected, leaving him to die an unruly death with his friends and family either not believing him or having to watch helplessly till its too late.

Xavier however, isn't ready for death and he makes that clear as his true self finally comes forward after all this time.
