Abandoned by his family ... trapped in a house of shadows ... destined for more than 7th grade math.

Arthur Paladin doesn't fit in. Not at home with the ultra-strict grandmother who raised him after his mother died and his dad disappeared. And not at school where the teachers think he's trouble and the other kids think he's a freak. Every night he peers into the sky with his telescope, sketches spaceships, and dreams about learning amazing things, the sort of things you need to know to save the world.

Then Arthur finds out his grandmother may send him to military school, which leads to a fight with his "perfect" cousin, which leads to the mysterious plate over his heart getting broken, which leads to his whole world turning upside down.

Shadow creatures appear out of nowhere to kill him. An angelic being from another dimension begs for his help. He takes refuge in a house that looks like an English cottage on the outside but is actually a mansion on the inside. Packed with shadow creatures, the manse immediately soars away from Earth and across the universe. Arthur is trapped, and he's only got Morgan Apple to help him. Morgan Apple, a girl who apparently sits beside him every day just to call him a moron.

That's when life gets really weird for Arthur. That's when he gets an energy sword and a raygun and finds out he's the next Multiversal Paladin.

SHADOW IS AZH'NAHN, A POWERLESS MAGE born into a culture that prides itself in sharing the earth's powers. When he chooses a life of voluntary exile to preserve his family's honor, Shadow receives a mysterious call to witness the unearthing of kotrakoy, treacherous telepathic beasts with four wings and four rows of teeth. As he watches their unholy resurrection with great horror, kotrakoy open their minds to his and offer a glimpse into what life would be like wielding a mage's powers. As Shadow races to warn his people of the impending threat, he discovers a mysterious Trayki woman hanging from the trees and on the verge of death. Uncertain what to do, Shadow initially hesitates to rescue this woman whose people embrace technology and eschew his culture. As Shadow tends to her glider crash wounds, the earth unites them in a soul bond, a sacred union that gives Shadow an unerring duty to protect and preserve her life. And that duty will be fraught with peril: Trayki troops begin bombing Hiwalani villages and while losses mount, magic evolves and Shadow's people lose their power. The Hiwalani must rely on inexperienced youth to master the new magic and stop enemy attacks. Desperate to save their people, few make any progress at all. Only the outcast azh'nahn seems to understand it - and very few trust his judgment. When Shadow believes he's unlocked the solution, it involves empowering the most deadly kotrakoy and risking the complete annihilation of his people. While his solution sounds reasonable in theory, there is no time to test it - it's UNPROVEN.

In a world where your eye color can determine your status, where monsters roam the earth, how can a team of two siblings, a "child", a priest, a few orphans and the devil really hope to survive? *** Aurora is a thirteen year old student mage who was placed into a boarding school at five years old. It was found out that her brother was magicless, and she's bullied for that. This, paired with his absence, has led her to feeling attached to her brother, and when she is notified of his distant arrival, she is ecstatic, despite being notified during a dire situation. Her life doesn't exactly get better from there, as she is whisked into a world of constantly oncoming danger. Her brother tries to defend her, but can she really be safe with his poor judge of character? Especially in the case of a certain omen of bad luck. Arthur, an eighteen year old adventurer and the brother of Aurora, does indeed have poor judge of character, but he's always been around terrible people. Despite this, he does find the good in others and always tries to show that to his sister. Unfortunately he is always proved wrong by his favored companions, who later reveal the worst of themselves to him. On top of that, he's always seen as less than, and he seems to have accepted that, but at least he understands that the only universal constant is that his sister loves him and he loves his sister. The title character is left ambiguous for a majority of the introduction. It's like he was plopped into the world at the last minute, even though he develops major plot points like the second magic system and the demon hunting. Those aren't even major spoilers, that's just surface level stuff. He's the aforementioned omen of bad luck that follows the siblings, and others that are soon to follow. Though, he seems to be the only competent one, as he saves the siblings time and time again. They almost seem useless to him, yet he stands by them anyway. One begins to wonder... is Ha'des really a demon?

Five Star Reviews for Atlantis Academy: "Omg this book was amazing I couldn't put it down or stop reading. I carried it with me open on my phone while I did everything just to keep reading. I need more of all of this. Epic story, epic content, epic visuals, just epic. LOVE THIS!" "Once I got into this story, I did not stop reading it. This is a beautiful story about a very awkward girl who is riven with so much pain and angst and yet... this makes her who she is and shapes her into the person she will become. The world she finds herself awakened to is magical and yet filled with the all-too-familiar cliques and tribes of the very human people who inhabit it. One word to describe the story: beautiful!" "The story pulls you headlong to the end and leaves you wanting to shout "No! Not yet!" ...If there were 6 stars, I would have given it that." *** Humanity is one secret society away from extinction. The children of Atlantis use magic to keep us safe. If they make it through the Academy. Hi, I'm Lyric. And I'm kind of a mess. ADHD, that's me. I'm a high school drop-out, late everywhere I go, and one screw-up away from being homeless. I'm a loner, and I like it that way. Who needs friends when you have a Redwood forest nearby? Trees never bully me like the kids did at school. Or get drunk and throw things at my head. After my mom died, I figured life couldn't get much worse. I thought it might even get better. Ha. The universe has a great sense of humor. I should've listened to the rumors about evil spirits. About the angry, ancient magical creatures haunting our small Oregon Coast town. But did I? No. That was my first mistake. And it might be my last. 'Cause now I'm in a battle for my life. A whole new world has opened up... a magical world I don't understand. And the blood in my veins says I belong here. But I have to prove myself to save myself. And when have I ever done that?

In a multiverse where the boundaries between worlds are fragile, the offspring of legendary heroes and villains gather at Nexus High, a school perched on the edge of reality itself. These children, born of unions that span video games, anime, movies, and beyond, inherit extraordinary powers, skills, and legacies. But their school days are far from ordinary. Between navigating the pressures of their parents' reputations and untangling the chaos threatening their worlds, they must forge their own paths while finding their place in a multiverse teetering on the edge of collapse. When a mysterious rift destabilizes the Nexus-a powerful network that connects all realities-Beatrice must team up with her classmates to unravel the truth behind the growing threat. From the mischievous Ari, son of Dante and Lady Dimitrescu, to the composed and enigmatic Kael, born of Goku and Erza Scarlet, her friends each bring their own unique powers, quirks, and complex relationships with their legendary parents' legacies. As Beatrice and her companions navigate their school lives, they'll face battles against shadowy forces, unravel the secrets of the Nexus, and confront the weight of expectations placed upon them as the next generation of multiversal heroes. Amid combat drills, interdimensional science projects, and the occasional cafeteria showdown, Beatrice must learn what it truly means to bridge worlds and bring unity to a fractured multiverse.

15 parts Complete

All I wanted was to help. I didn't expect to discover a world of non-humans. I have enough to juggle between going through medical school and work to pay for my tiny apartment. But when Ruby, a young pregnant woman is in need of help, I decide that one more thing can't hurt, right? I guess the answer is yes when it ends up with me trapped in the centaur world with a one year old and an electric fox that could stab me in the back at any moment... again. It doesn't help that I don't know the language and they're on the lookout for me. My goal is to make it home or to the child's father. But they're centaurs, unicorns, and pegasus after me. I know I can't outrun them but I can make it through this world without getting trampled, right? ("Into the Centaur World" takes place in the same universe as "Tèarmann Chronicles")
