Gwaine spent the next nine years wandering, believing that his friend was dead. Merlin didn't see either of them for another nine years... in Camelot. This is a "Merlin is the lost prince of another kingdom AU," but it's different from the others. Okay, I know that they all say that, but hear me out. Maybe Merlin isn't the only one from a different kingdom? Maybe... I dunno, Gwaine and Lancelot are from that same kingdom? I don't own Merlin!

Merlin and Arthur. There never was, nor would there be, a pair quite like those two. Arthur, the Once And Future king of Camelot; and Merlin, the greatest sorcerer of all time. Now Merlin has a chance, but will Arthur look at Merlin in the way Merlin looks at him? Only time can tell, but there is very little time for such things now. Morgana is plotting up some evil scheme that will kill Merlin, Arthur, the knights, and take over Camelot. With forces aligning behind her, there's a chance that Morgana may even win. As Merlin struggles to show Arthur his love, all of Camelot is in danger of Morgana's powerful magic. So what happens if Camelot falls?
