G/n was a homeworld gem. Only of her kind, one might add. Created as a test experiment for the thousand year War for Earth, she wasn't around too long before being hurled into a world of chaos and destruction. New and not at all sure of herself, G/n was captured not long after being sent out to fight.

A gem named Rose Quartz eventually convinced a very reluctant G/n to fight for her cause. Years pass and the is over, only a handful of the Crystal Gems remain, and the great leader Rose Quartz has given birth to her son, Steven.

G/n may have fought for the Crystal Gems, but she had no  side in that war.

But if there was ever anything G/n was willing to die for, it was Steven.

SLOW UPDATES Many years ago, a gem emerged on the homeworld near the diamond palace. Pink, being the first one to recognize a gem emerging, told the other 3 diamonds about the information. As all four of them watched the new gem merge, it was discovered that the gem was born with two gems instead of one. Instead of shattering the gem, white diamond decided to keep them as they were a rare cut gem with an abnormal two gems instead of one. After the discovery, they decided to name the gem, Y/N. From being heavily guarded and kept within eyes sight and inside her whole life into being outside and experiencing many different emotions for the first time. This is when her story begins.
