You were always the quiet one, but it turned into something worse after the war began. You had lost everything, one, by one. But three things remained. Sonic, the one who had inspired you to stay strong. The shadowy figure who helped you get away from an experiment lab not long ago. And Eggman. He took everything away from you. He drives you continue fighting this war.
   Now, there is a new Mobian no one has ever seen before. He has killed thousands without hesitation. But he let you live... why?

(This is a Sonic Forces Fan-fiction. I don't own Sonic)
   This will contain spoilers for both the Sonic Forces game and Episode Shadow. So, I would recommend playing the game before reading. Also, unlike normal Sonic, this will contain blood and light swearing. This will also involve serious topics, such as; Anxiety, Depression, Abuse, Mutism, some suggestive topics, and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

With this revelation in mind, things start to happen between the Freedom Fighters. Everyone is hurting each other and themselves, whether they wanted this or not. They could never have avoided this outcome. They are no longer fucking kids, and they know it.

A rebellion has formed in the kingdom of Mobius. Led by the determined Shadow the Hedgehog, a group of assembled bandits have assembled to dethrone the current ruler: Miles "Tails" Prowler. With the defenders of the kingdom strained thin, the victory seems eminent. Until a deformed, metal-coated warrior steps forward to meet the threat. Sonic the Hedgehog. Follow Sonic and Shadow as the two heroes fight for true rule over the kingdom of Mobius, and claim what each truly believes to be justice. Fall into Chaos is meant to be my love-letter to the series. While this can still be enjoyed with a minimal understanding of the series, it does help to know your stuff! The story is meant to really unravel the characters of the franchise I love. Really highlight their flaws, strengths, motivations, all that. And it was fun imagining a darker tone to Sonic the Hedgehog, like seeing a meaningful struggle for Sonic *coughcoughSonicForcescough*. Lastly, trust me, I know what this is. A Sonic fan story. But, don't worry. The fan characters are non-existent...kinda. The story is actually cohesive, makes for what I truly think is a thought-provoking, genuinely fun story! With plenty of Sonic's trademark cheesiness and personality. So with all that being said, please. Enjoy Fall into Chaos.

Set in another world. A world where Eggman and Infinite have been taking over cities; left right and centre. Using continuous bombing runs from Eggmans newest robots, each programmed by Infinites crimson cubes. Eggman has sent Infinite on a number of missions to hunt down the resistance, however in this world the resistance is scattered. Scattered throughout the land and deep underground. These underground bunkers are called 'War Cabinets'. The resistance is much larger in this universe although in secrecy, they destroy patrols of robots left right and centre. However a new enemy rises and is far beyond the power of Infinite and shadow combined. How will they defeat him? You'll have to read to find out ^^. In this story. It will cover harsh topics like PTSD and paranoia, along with mentions of suicide. Warning: Gore Sad moments Scenes that could feel realistic Have fun reading. :3
