Ferretkit, Cherrykit, and Jaykit are kits of HailClan. Their kithood is the same as every other kit's, but things start happening once their apprenticeship begins. Ferretpaw discovers a dark secret hidden by all the Clans, Jaypaw accidentally betrays his Clan and is now being blackmailed by a cat he once called a friend, and Cherrypaw is chosen to be the Healer by StarClan, a position that forces her to isolate herself from her littermates, and learn the leader's horrifying secrets that shouldn't be kept. If these things get out, they will break the fragile peace the holds the four Clans together. But it looks like fate might not wait for these secrets to get out- tensions are rising between the Clans and war is brewing on the horizon.

Note: Because in this story the Clan life is A LOT different then in Erin Hunter's, it will be a bit darker then normal clan life. However, it's definitely not as dark as 9 Lives of Terror, only some parts.
