Adrian had always been the quiet one. He never spoke, nor could he. He lived a content life: had two parents who loved him, the coolest older brother, friends he could always trust and trusted him in return. But everything changed on his way home from school one day, a chance encounter that sent him spiraling into a new world. An instance that would have been thought to only happen in movies. Now he must brave this new world with a few companions and survive. Art by me.

Adrian Wells has survived everything life has thrown at him-until life threw him to Cadmus. A kid from Gotham with a cursed eidetic memory and a brutal streak born in the underground fighting pits, Adrian thought he'd seen it all. But nothing could prepare him for the horrors of Cadmus, the secret government facility where people like him-disposable, forgotten-are forged into weapons. Now free after years of torment and experimentation, Adrian isn't just another pawn in a metahuman chess game. He's a human weapon with one goal: burn down the people and systems that turned him into a monster. Armed with a body enhanced by alien technology, a brain that never forgets, and a fighting style that's as raw and relentless as his hatred, Adrian begins his bloody ascent through the criminal underworld, carving a path across DC's most dangerous cities-from Gotham to Blüdhaven to the heart of Cadmus itself. But revenge isn't simple in a world of gods and monsters. As Adrian moves through a landscape dominated by metahumans, corrupt corporations, and secret conspiracies, he finds himself caught between the shadowy forces pulling the strings-forces that see him as either a valuable asset or a loose end to be cut. Superman, Batman, and the Justice League? To Adrian, they're distractions, symbols of a world that only looks up while the rest of humanity drowns. Adrian Wells isn't a hero. He's not even sure he's human anymore. But if the League is humanity's hope, Adrian is its rage-raw, unrelenting, and willing to do what heroes won't. This is his story. A brutal tale of survival, revenge, and the gray line between man and weapon in a world dominated by titans. Welcome to Adrian's DC Universe. You won't forget him-just like he never forgets anything. Chance, The Guardian

1 part Complete

Until Chance's 16th birthday he was almost like everyone else, and then he woke up in the dream world. As he learns what this means he learns more about what it means to be him, along with finding a new friend in Jason, someone who once bullied Chance for his Down Syndrome. The two of them work together to defeat a being from another plane, who wants to use the dreamers to help him take the Earth from the humans... and it's not until then they learn there are others in the dream world. Chance is special, thanks to him being born with a very specific ability he can only use in the dream world, one passed to him by his deceased father. With these new people in his life he's able to defeat the being, help the girl he cared about, and begin to accept what it means to be a night guardian.
