Kaley Langstrom is your typical 15 year old girl. She lives in her ordinary house in her ordinary neighborhood, she goes to her ordinary high school, and has her ordinary friends. Until one night, something not-so-ordinary happens that will change Kaley's life forever. She later makes a new friend who is far, far from ordinary. Kaley wants to introduce her new friend to this world as well as protect him from those who might see him as a threat, especially if they're from the government. Will Kaley keep her secrecy protected or end up in the clutches of harm?

Aliens have been here before... one was left behind. Eighteen-year- old Zoe must find him and she doesn't have much time. Along with the alien, a beacon was left on Earth which when activated, opens a portal through which the aliens will return. The extraterrestrials visit Earth to usurp Qi, Earth's vital energy. If the extraterrestrials go too long without Qi, people on the alien planet will die. However, when Qi is extracted from Earth, the weak and elderly of Earth will die. The beacon can only be activated by the alien who was left here and only when the planets are in a particular alignment. The next time is only two months away during the Autumnal Equinox. When Zoe discovers who the alien is, it's a complete game changer because the alien is closer to her than she ever could have imagined. The story takes place in a small town surrounded by forest near the Oregon-California border. Of course it does, after all, the highest concentration of Qi is found in forests where ancient redwoods grow. You might be wondering, what is Qi? In Japan it is called "ki," and in India, "prana"." The ancient Egyptians referred to it as "ka," and the ancient Greeks as "pneuma." In Africa, it's known as "ashe" and in Hawaii as "mana." Qi, Prana, Ki, call it what you will, this energy is the life force itself.

Physically, they look exactly the same as humans. The only difference; their coloue of blood is green. Because of this little difference, it becomes hard to find out who is alien, who is human. Eighteen-year old, young and beautiful girl Hayley was having an ordinary hagh school life, until aliens come to the Earth. After that day, although humans and aliens start living together in peace, Hayley hates aliens because she lost the man she loves in the war. Therefore, Hayley cannot trust anyone anymore. By the way, she meets Ezra, the new student in school. After this meeting, Hayley starts seeing the truths about aliens; why they are really here. Humanity, is in danger right now and if this cannot be stopped, the apocalypse happens and humanity will be over.
