After the tragic deaths of her parents, the hero duo Water Hose, Izumi Y/n vows to become a hero just like her parents. Her goal is to grow even stronger than they were, and make the world a safer place for everyone, where heroes don't have to die. Unfortunately, her little brother doesn't see eye to eye with her on the matter. Although he begins to resent her, she is determined that one day she'll be able to become a hero that even he can look up to. 

She trains with her aunt, the hero known by the world as Mandalay, and the rest of the Pussycats until it is time for her entrance exams to the national hero school, UA. Her hard work pays off, and she finds herself training among the best of the best. 

Her positive and hard working attitude draws the attention of her classmates and other students alike, with all of the boys fighting to be by her side.
