The aftermath causes him to deal with an ever increasing post-traumatic shock, whilst managing a company rubber plantation, using opium as a crutch.

Immediately after completing her 12th standard, Saanjh's family forced her into a marriage with Vijay, a 25-year-old farmer's son. Vijay, though kind-hearted, had been forced to abandon his own dreams of pursuing higher education due to family issues. As the elder child, he took on the responsibility of helping his father in the fields, sacrificing his own aspirations. As Saanjh's dreams lay shattered, she found herself torn between her own aspirations and the expectations of her new family. The thought of sacrificing her independence and autonomy was suffocating. She felt like a bird with clipped wings, longing to soar but grounded by the weight of responsibility. Vijay, too, was trapped in his own way. He felt the burden of his family's struggles, the weight of his own lost dreams. He wondered if he would ever find a way to break free from the cycle of farming, to forge his own path. As Saanjh and Vijay navigated their new life together, they must confront the harsh realities of their circumstances. Will they be able to accept each other, despite their differing backgrounds and dreams? Will their love be enough to overcome the challenges that lay ahead, or will it become a casualty of their circumstances? Can Saanjh find a way to revive her lost dreams, and will Vijay be able to support her on her journey?

The French Revolution

10 parts Ongoing

Set in the heart of revolutionary Paris, this story is about love, loyalty, and the struggle for freedom during a time of chaos. Paris, once a lively city, has turned into a place of fear and unrest. The streets are filled with the sounds of rebellion and the smell of smoke, as the people rise up against the monarchy. Élise, a young woman, is caught in the middle of it all. She dreams of peace but cannot escape the harsh reality of the revolution. Her brother Mathieu is passionate about the fight for justice, willing to sacrifice everything for change. Jacques, a nobleman who has joined the revolution, wants to make amends for the privilege he was born into but fears what the uprising has become. Élise is torn between them and must find her own path as the world around her falls apart. As the Bastille is stormed and the Reign of Terror begins, Élise faces difficult choices. Can freedom be won without losing humanity? Can love survive in a world filled with fear and betrayal? The story shows how ordinary people are swept up in extraordinary events, struggling to hold onto hope as everything changes.
