Where two childhood best friends meet again through a different band.

He chuckled in reply. "But hey, it doesn't matter, I'm your band's number one fan now."

She raised a brow at him. "Oh really?"

	"Yeah!"

Silence enveloped the two, only the sound of the rippling water from the pool below could be heard. Calum decided that this is the perfect to bring up the topic.

"You've come a long way, Airee." He peeked at her through his lashes, waiting for any reaction. "I shouldn't have underestimated you." After he said those words, Airee froze but didn't meet his gaze. He noticed how her grip on the pen and notebook tightened.

"But you did, Cal." When she called him that, he knew he's not only talking to SOARA's center but his childhood friend as well, the slight crack in her voice didn't go unnoticed.

"Ai..." He whispered when he saw her bite her lip, indicating that she's about to cry. "I don't have any excuses on why I did and said those things to you. But I just want you to know that I regret it." His heart clenched when he heard her let out a sob, tears continued to fall from her eyes even though she attempted to wipe them with her hands.

"Ai..." He couldn't take it anymore. He doesn't care if he's stepping on the line here, there's only one thing his mind is telling him to do. He closed the distance between and knelt in front of her before engulfing her in a comforting hug. He mentally thanked God when she didn't attempt to push him away but her sobs got louder, which scared because she might wake the others up.

"Just let it out... I know it still hurts you... I'm so sorry." He whispered his apologies to her while rubbing his hand on her back to soothe her.

Not to be in the light, not to be known, but to exist-not just as a passing shadow, but as something real, something unshaken by the world around her. The sea had always been her solace, the rhythmic pull of the waves whispering secrets only she could understand. The tide welcomed her, cradled her in its embrace, reminding her that even the quietest things had power. The ocean did not beg to be noticed-it simply was. A force, a presence, something that could both heal and destroy. Maybe that was why she found herself drawn to it, why the beach felt like home. But even still, the question lingered at the edge of her thoughts. What if I could be something more? It wasn't too late, was it? She had spent years reading people like open books, seeing through their polished exteriors to the raw, unspoken truths beneath. And yet, when a silver-haired man wove his way into her life-calculated, unreadable, a ghost of a smile playing at his lips-she found herself pausing. Chishiya was different. He was a man who wore his manipulation like a second skin, his every move precise, deliberate. He was someone who thought he could twist people to his will, someone who believed he was untouchable. But Emi knew better. She had seen him before, drifting through the same shadows, always watching. Yet, standing before him now, she realized they were not the same. She observed people to understand them. He observed them to use them. And for the first time in her life, Emi wondered-was her ability to see through others a gift? Or a curse?

She looks...there are no words. Her clothe-less body lays stiff on a metal slab, and her head moving back and forth. I could stare at this all day, but I can't. I know it's wrong. And, she would hate me after this. I roughly turn my head away, then I hear a groan. I snap my head to her direction. She groans again. "Oh God...my head..." She sits up, but instantly falls down. Probably a head rush. "Skye?" I call her name, softly. I don't want her to feel alone and frightened. "Who's there?" Her pearly voice commands. Ever since we've been thrown in here, my love for her grew. I can physically see my love in the air, just waiting for her to inhale it. "It's just me, Luke." She gasps and a million things come out of her mouth,"Luke!? Are you ok? Where are we? What happened? Wheres Tristan? And Mr. Parker-" "Just open your eyes, princess." Princess? Where the fuck did that come from? Oh well, I like it anyways. "Shit."she curses when her eyes are open,"Luke! What the hell is going on!?" "I don't know, Princess, but don't shout. It echos." I hold my head, trying to subside the pain tht now grows. "Mr. Parker is staring at me." I throw my fist against the metal bar I'm contained against,"Mr Parker!? He's there with you? Cover yourself, dear." "Figured that out already. Thanks for your help." I could imagine her rolling her eyes. "I'm here as a friend, not a foe. Though you do look ravishing, might I add?" Mr. Parker states. "What do you mean friend not a foe? I'm pretty sure you're the big enemy here." She tightens her hold on herself. He sighed,"Maybe so, but do you want to know where your friend is or not?" "Yes, please." She begged. "No! Skye! Don' make deals with him!" I yell. I know exactly where this is leading. I could feel her gaze burning in my direction, though I'm 99.99% sure she can't see me"What do you want, Mr Parker?" He sighed, like it was obvious. Well, it was for me,"Give me yourself, and you get your friend. Oh, and I'll let you go.

The bandages that covered his face in life have fallen away, all incinerated and hanging loosely around his neck. His face is completely destroyed. Unrecognizable. The skin covering his face is no longer there, all having melted away. His blood vessels have all burst, his nerves have fried along with the majority of his muscles. His jaw opens and closes a little bit. His eyes bore into me. They're large and round and completely accusing. His teeth are covered in bits of burnt muscle. I feel my heart thudding in my chest. He steps closer, closer. His bone gleams in the dim light. As he closes in on me, a pounding noise begins ringing through my ears. My heart beat- ba-dum. Ba-dum. Ba-dum. It looked like he had been tossed into a fryer, fried alive, and he had been. By me. I did this to someone. I killed someone's team mate, someone's son. I killed someone's important person. -- Kimiko Kioku, a memory keeper. Never forgets anything, always notices, from the exact way the wind blew her hair against her face to coloring with her brother at five to the lullaby her mother would sing to her as she rocked her when she was not even a year old. She remembers. She remembers the blood, the glassy, clouded over eyes her brother had as he said his last words. She remembers the very first person she killed. She remembers how abandoned she feels, and how everything always feels like it's falling apart at the seams. (Can you say 'worst summary ever to exist'? Okay, maybe not that bad. But still pretty bad.)

Hi! I've now migrated to Dandy's world fandom (yeyyy) Anyways, hope you enjoy ^^ Oh and, this is my au so if you see characters getting mischaracterized then please don't mind. (PS. Cosmo and Glisten are FTM so please don't judge, thanks) TW: Angst, Gore, Death, Smut, etc. (will put warnings, dw.) -------------------------------------------------------- *CRACK* ... "H-Help... Please..." Silence answered his call. He sobbed, trying to crawl to wherever he perceived as 'safe' when deep inside... he knew that this is his end. He crawled and crawled until he ended up in a secluded corner. He hugged his legs, dripping with ichor. Heavy breathes was all that he could do now because the ichor was running through his veins. Soon, he was slowly forgetting his memories when suddenly, he smelled something... Strawberries. "Cosmo?! Where are you?!" His eyes widened as he tried to stand up. His legs were weak so he had to hold onto the walls. "Spr...out..." He tried to call out but his voice was a bit raspy from the ichor. He limped towards the other boy who had caramel on the side of his hair and face. The other boy noticed him and ran towards him, holding him in his arms. "Cosmo! Oh god..." Sprout put his hand on Cosmo's cheek. "I'm so sorry..." He whispered as Cosmo hugged him tighter. "N-No... I'm sor-ry too..." Cosmo sobbed into Sprouts shoulder as the taller boy softly whispered soft words and rubbed his back. "It's okay... Everything's going to be okay... We'll go back up and get Dandy..." Sprout kissed Cosmo's forehead as the boy continued to cry. "I promise that everything will be alright..." Cosmo looked up at Sprout, one shedding tears whilst the other sheds ichor. "You pro-mise...?" Sprout stays silent for a bit, thinking about how he CAN'T do anything but say sweet nothings. "...I promise. So please stay, I still want you." Cosmo nods as they continue to hug each other... Not knowing the things they'll go through.
