It's the year 1942. News of the Second World War can be found in every newspaper. 

After you find yourself in a bad relationship and manage to get out of it, your father, a veteran of The Great War who suffers from shell shock, is chosen by the draft. With some help, you find yourself in the US Army to take your father's place on the battlefield, wanting to prove your strength and hoping to help put an end to the war.

You're assigned to the 1st Infantry Division, 16th Regiment Infantry. You expect to not be accepted, but you eventually grow a close bond with your squad as you all make your way through Europe. 

You think of the Army as a place where you shouldn't fall in love, but there's one soldier in your squad who changes that.

His name is Robert Zussman.

1971 and the vietnam war wages on. Germany and America join forces to fight and stop the spread of communism. Hans Hoffmen jr was drafted into the war. He and his troops fought until they were called back home emendently. For some reason they were not told why they called back so fast. When they came back a new building popped up. Then they were told to guard the unknown building. Then during one of their guarding hundreds of troops came flooding. They were soldiers wearing a roman like armor and weapons. Then the soldiers under Hoffmen command open fire and wipe out. After the incident the building/gate was badly damaged which caused it to close again before that happened a spy and his family were sent in to study the other side. Now in 2018 Colonel Wolf Hoffmen was in Berlin for an important meeting walking past the building which is now called the great gate. Then it happens all over again... Later he was told to take his forces and go through the gate.

A World War Two fiction story about a young man named Albert Schroeder, a twenty one year old German soldier of the Wehrmacht, has been sent to Western Russia to fight the Soviet Union in the summer of June 1944. In military training in Northern Germany, he meets another soldier named Kurt Smith. Kurt has been his friend since military training until his death in a battle against the Soviets during the early night. After Kurt's death, Albert faces many problems with another death of one of Kurt's friends from high school, Ralph Schäfer that he had just met. Albert will then be taken to a place many soldiers of his kind have gone before, a Russian P.O.W camp and might stay there for most of the war until it is over or will Albert try to escape during the night and go on a huge journey back to Germany? 29/03/2025 : Please stop reading this, I find it do cringe now :'( LOTS of military inaccuracies. A König x male reader and original characters insert in Call Of Duty. You are a french man, engaging in the special forces, in the same base as TF141. Though you got shot once, it doesn't bother you that much. Will you be able to make friends, even if there's a giant and gaping hole in your face ? Will they be open-minded enough to accept your homosexuality ? Will you be able to get close to the socially anxious man ? ~ Presence of angst, character deaths, depiction of violence, description of wounds, light mental health issues, mention of past starving, mentions of the mean german people who were really active from 1939 to 1945, out of storyline Call Of Duty. I always knew i wasn't meant for the heels anyway. When I joined the army, I was young and foolish. I thought I would become invencible but my first experience in the field showed me just how naive I was. Abandoned by my own nation, with a team of 5 brave men, sent on a suicidal misson. I threatened to expose the truth myself and when I did, they had no better way to shut me up than to send me back to war. The truth would come out, even if I had to go through hell and back. And I did...
