You came back to the rising stones to see Minfilia in somewhat dismay and she walks over to you to immediately tell you of her concerns. Thancred was studying the Amalj'aa and due to his hastiness for more research got himself trapped within the camp. All be it safe he seems to no naught of the way out, and Minfilia asks you to rescue you him and to bring Y'Shtola with you for backup.

My eyes widened and I looked at my hands. "Did I do that?" I asked, but before I could answer, I heard a guard shout for backup as they had heard the ice shattering. I quickly jumped up and stashed the crystal in my pocket before leaving. I crept to the cave the following day, putting the crystal back into the remains of the ice pillar. As I walked away, the crystal fell, causing it to break into a million pieces. I jumped at the sudden noise and stumbled backwards, my eyes widening as a black smog formed around the crystal. "No, no, no, no! Frick." I desperately tried to grab the remains of the crystal, causing one to cut my hand. "Ow! Shit." I whispered, looking at my bleeding hand. "Tch, tch, tch, poor child." A demonic voice said. I looked up and saw that the black smog had two red eyes and a wide, sick smile that was dripping with venom. "I- who are you?" I asked, backing up. "The one who can help you out of here." It said, stretching out a hand. I looked it up and down and before I could answer, its hand plunged into my heart, causing me to scream out in pain. "Do you have trouble speaking? I'll help you talk my love, there must be something stuck in your throat?" He said shoving the gun deeper, by now the base of his pistol was pressed down against my lips as I choked loudly. I screamed and jumped in fright as he pulled the trigger. Nothing, No bullets were fired. The force of the gun shook my whole body. I gargled and shook my head no repeatedly, but he wasn't satisfied. he squeezed my throat and completely blocked my airway. By now I started panicking more as I could no longer breathe, what does he want me to say?? please just stop this. "I merry gyou" I somehow managed to gargle those words out hoping he hears them. My mouth tastes like metal and I could taste blood as well, the force of the gun being shoved down my throat scratched the inside of my mouth.

NONE OF THE CHAPTERS IN THIS BOOK ARE PG-13! The settings for this book went psycho, but I promise you, this book is clean. I stared in amazement and horror, and then realized that the person-which, as I looked at him, was a boy-was extending his hand to lift me up. I took it thankfully. When I stood up, the world tipped to the left, and I stumbled. The boy caught me with strong hands. I looked at him and finally was able to look in on his features. The boy was only about 13 or 14. He had a shock of freckles, and a pointy nose, with rosy cheeks, and a mane of curly black hair. He had this quirky smile on his face, and his eyes glinted with mischief. He was dressed in a smithy outfit, complete with a tool belt, which had nothing in it. He also had some sturdy black boots. "You alright?" His voice was kind of squeaky, like he was just getting through puberty, right in the middle of high and low. "I'm fine," I replied, though he raised one of his eyebrows, pretty sure I was lying. I was of course. My favorite band had just turned into a couple of ugly, unearthly mermaids! My hands and legs trembled, and I almost fell over. I managed to stand, and asked, "What were those?" "Sirens. Probably why all the people in this room are asleep!" He grinned, like this was some kind of joke. I was not laughing. "Who are you?" I asked, not really wanting an answer, but it felt good to talk. "Oh! My apologies." He said it with a great bow. "Leo Valdez, engineer extraordinaire, son of Hephaestus."
