Do you believe in Superheros?

Well everyone does where I come from. I'm Hood. And I'm a Superhero.

So, sorry for messing up your logic non-believers!

Blaire Woods is one of the schools biggest nerds. Tending to hide behind all the chaos that is high school. She's extremely clumsy, is as blind as a bat, and has a bad case of word babble.

But what you don't know about her is that she's a world famous Superhero. Rescuing Damsels in distress, no matter how awkward it gets when they think she's a dude, putting out fires and blah, blah, blah.

The list could go on.

Blaire's life is good for an invisible nerd. But what happens when she saves her bully? The arrogant and popular Rhyden?

Will her hood be removed to reveal her true identity?

Do you believe in superheroes? I don't. Or at least I didn't. I heard stories of how my dad was a superhero and how he saved lives. I thought he was a firefighter, but he was a superhero. Let me catch you up on my parent's story. My mom worked at the Daily Newspaper and lived in a crappy apartment. She had two best friends that also worked with her. Then her life changed when my dad flew into her office. Ok, my dad is a superhero. He gave her a fantastic necklace that kept a bad guy from finding it. Then she followed my uncle, which she found out who my dad really was. Then she went to the hospital, where they were helping my dad get better, but she helped him out. Sadly, they started getting chased by these bad guys and ended up fighting this nasty dude... I can't remember his name. Then they defeated him and lived happily ever after. Well, to continue the story, they got married about 4 years later. Then I was born 2 years after that. My life changed drastically after that, my dad and my uncles had to go off time after time leaving me and mom at home. Soon after my dad and uncles retired and left the world to fend for themselves, my dad felt he needed to be there for mom and me, even though my mom felt he needed to stay and fight for as long as possible. But he never went back. Dad went to help some people in a burning building. And never came back out. So, now it's just my mom and me. My name is Camila Styles. And I am not a superhero. Please comment, I'm hoping to update once a week if I get enough views.

"We said whoever eats the most pizza has to do the dare no matter how cruel or easy it is." This is just a glimpse of our sleepovers. Ivy and Autumn always drag me into some kind of trap to do their evil dares. Tonight, they used my worst weakness, food. Sighing, "fine. I'll take the dare." They cheered and high-fived as I stood in front of them, glaring. "Better not be something bad!" I blurted, making them snap out of their cheering. They looked at me with a sinister smirk. The smirk where you know their up to something. Something bad. - Meet Jade Williams. Your average girl in every single way. She uses her weekends to binge watch on Netflix and takes her time binge snacking. In no way she would be considered perfect. Yes, sometimes she is picked on every now and then but nothing to extreme. Well despite the fact she has a crush on the most unexpected person. Bryan Jones, the schools bad-boy. He's basically a emotionless, fit brick dressed up in leather. Just your typical bad boy, right? Her life changes from late nights on Netflix to possibly going out to parties because of two guys. Conner Peterson and Bryan Jones. The most anyone can do to keep her out of trouble is to pray. Not to mention the fact that her two dearest friends are two living and breathing dare making machines. How is Jade going to make it out of her senior year alive? - -January 13th 2017- -January 29th 2017- #14 on Rising Teen Fiction -February 13th 2017- 10K Reads -February 14th 2017- #163 in TF -February 22nd 2017- #136 in TF -January 1st 2018 - 100K READS! PSA: this book, to say the very least, is not my proudest work. i made this when i didn't know a thing about writing, let alone writing a whole story. it's simply a book you'd read if you wanted a quick sap and not something in depth. feel free to check out my other books - they're arguably way better than this one

Guide to Being a Superhero...'s BFF (Guide to Being, Novella One)

9 parts Complete

Friendship doesn't change when your bestie becomes a fire-wielding champion, but a lot of other stuff does. Like having to put 'kidnapped by idiots with powers' on your weekly schedule. And enduring said idiots' cliché monologues while inwardly roasting their interior decorating skills. Hey, I'm Mira. That's right, Miracle Simmons. BFF to America's favorite superhero celeb; Firebird. (Bu-bye, Chris Evens, your reign is over.) You've probably heard of her, but not of me. That's okay! I'm her bestie! It's my job to make sure she doesn't burn herself out fighting morons, keep her focused in her actual real life, and try to show her that she doesn't have to pick every fight. Uh-huh, I have it way worse than her. Anyway, if you're reading this, you are most likely a newbie superhero bestie. Or a salty television producer. Or my mom. (Hi, Mom.) Whoever you are; buckle up, and enjoy my tale of supervillains who aren't villains-or super, superheroes who don't want to work anymore, and the rotten media that started it all. And me. The wanna-be normal engineering student who God decided had to be kidnapped to get a date.
